By now, my model has been developed quite far, the entire body has been modelled, in addition to the hands with a small start on the feet, with the rest mostly developed. Below are views from the front and back in both normal and smoothed modes.
From now, the feet need to be finished, the head needs to be created, and the hands need to be connected to the arms. After that has all been completed (though likely not including the head, as this will most probably be done after), the model can be mirrored, so the left side doesn't need to be modelled identically to the right, which would only mean extra work.
However, what I have noticed is that upon finishing my model, refining will be needed in order to form the character's clothing as opposed to only skin, as that is what has been modelled for the most part thus far. Additionally to that, sculpting will be needed afterwards at different parts of the model in order to fully shape it correctly, and make sure that the model is as accurate as possible, so that it would be well prepared for texturing and rigging.
